Banh Khot Lady

I was really happy with my takeout box of banh khot and spring rolls. Both were super flavorful and had the perf mix of crunch and fluffy textures. It was nice having the lettuce and pickles and fish sauce as well. I feel like it's a little pricey for the quantity but delicious nonetheless. If I lived closer I would get it more often.

Love picking up Banh Khot here! Make sure to order online ahead of time, as lines can get long over the weekend. You can choose a specific time slot to pick up your order on the website. I usually get the 15 piece Banh Khot 5 piece Shrimp Egg Roll combo (for 2 ppl). It looks like a lot but it's worth it, and easy to reheat any leftovers. I pop them in air fryer for just a couple mins. The combo comes with fresh veggies, herbs, pickled radish/carrot. Their fish sauce is also *chefs kiss* The store also has a couple small stools/tables to eat outside! Best for quick bite for 1-2ppl though. Otherwise I would just pick up the order to go

That’s it—and that’s all you need. Everything’s made fresh to order, so don’t roll up with a big group or expect fast food. If you want a large order, call ahead—waits can get long. There’s just something magical about wrapping up crispy, savory bites in fresh lettuce, layered with mint, cilantro, a hint of spice, and that golden fish sauce dip. It honestly feels like you’ve been transported to a side street in Vietnam. Small tables inside and out, super clean, and perfect to take out for parties too.

Visiting from Dallas and many friends suggested my fiance and I visit this place. Sooo glad they did and worth visiting! Made fresh to order and served hot in a pizza box w/ fresh veggies and delicious dipping sauce sauce (nuoc cham). Also had the opportunity to meet the owner and chat it up! Coincidentally we share the same last name. 10/10 recommend

These are so good! So well done and lovely staff. Bonus while you wait, sometimes they have pop up guests outside serving samples.

My Fiance recommended this place after we took a day trip to OC from San Diego. Coming from Vancouver BC, we sadly don't have anything like Banh Khot lady, so the first bite was truly magical!! Staff was beyond friendly which added to the whole experience, but it was quite saddening to learn that some individuals were taking advantage of small businesses like Banh Khot Lady. If there's a time where your mom and pop shops need you, this would be it. Can't wait for the next trip to OC, will definitely be back again.

Delicious and filling lunch! The banh khot had a nice hot crispy crust and the center was fluffy with a savory pork/shrimp filling. 20 banh was plenty for 2 adults and 2 small kids. We went on a weekday for a lunch and the food came out very fast. Nice owner and staff.
